seit einigen Tagen, eine externe Festplatte (klassische 2,5“ im externen Gehäuse) über USB anzuschließen.<u></u><u></u></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Die LED am Gehäuse geht an, aber die Platte ist nicht sichtbar mit fdisk –l<u></u><u></u></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Zuerst dachte ich, es liegt an der Spannungsversorgung; jetzt habe ich von Udo eine „Raspi-Erweiterung klein“ angeschlossen, und diese mit einem guten externen Netzteil versorgt,
doch das Problem besteht immer noch.<u></u><u></u></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Der USB-Schreib/Lesekopf arbeitet am Raspi einwandfrei, USB-Sticks kann ich auch anschließen und erkennen; aber ich habe nun zwei verschiedene klassische Laufwerke im externen Gehäuse
getestet, die beide nicht erkannt werden. Beide sind mit ext4 formatiert und von einem anderen Linux-System einwandfrei erkennbar.<u></u><u></u></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Woran kann das liegen, hat von euch schonmal jemand diesen Test gemacht ? Habe ich bessere Chancen, wenn die externe Platte eine eigene Stromversorgung hat ?<u></u><u></u></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Ziel ist, die MySql-Datenbank auf der externen Platte abzubilden, um die ganzen Messwerte-Updates dort durchzuführen.<u></u><u></u></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Klar, man könnte auch einen USB-Stick nehmen; dort haben wir aber das gleiche Problem wie bei SD-Card und SSD-Disk: Chip-basierte Speicher haben das Problem der begrenzten Haltbarkeit
bei häufigen Schreibzyklen. Daher würde ich schon gerne die klassische Platte betreiben<u></u><u></u></p>
