Hi,

more pulses :-)

I'm sure you've been waiting for _your_ chance to get actively involved in the project. Well - this could be it!

So far we have one frontend running [1] for volkszaehler. That's nice but way too heavy for a smartphone. I'd like to see something that is more appropriate for smartphone browsers. That is:
- less resource hungry (RAM, CPU)
- more appropriate screen design (less and bigger buttons, more appropriate navigation, ...)
- ...
PhoneGap [2] looks like a good option to me:
- open source
- supports iOS, Android, BlackBerry, ...
- code is written in JS

The current issue of iX [3] (german magazine) has an article on it. Let me know (PM) if you're interested in reading it.
