There are also dependecies in Doctrine itself. It requires the Doctrine
DBAL (Database Abstractin layer). I would suggest to install it from a
release tarball.

Looks good. Perhaps you should give our install.sh a try (located in
misc/tools)

This is a template file. Do you edited the right file:
etc/volkszaehler.conf.php ?

Correct. Doctrine & jpGraph are third party dependecies. Doctrine2 is
required. jpGraph is optional!
