Hi,
yes I want to use a Synology NAS. However I don't migrate from previous
MySQL but rather have a new MariaDB installation. Until now my DB is on the
Raspi but I start to get nervous about the SD card...
Also I am thinking about moving to InfluxDB alltogether but currently I am
writing to it in parallel because the Grafana Front End still needs a lot
of config to look similar to the VZ frontend.
Any suggestions for running the DB on Synology? I am not very familiar with
SQL databases and haven't really found a good tutorial on the migration.
The VZ wiki only has instructions for moving the entire midleware to a
webhoster. I would prefer to run the middleware on my Raspi and only move
the DB to the NAS.
cheers!
